Dear Auxiliary Members,
Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to the success of our latest raffle, “Romantic Staycation”. All the proceeds will go towards funding our Girl’s State Candidate.
The State President, along with our District President, will be visiting our Post on Saturday March 14th early in the morning. I will know more details later but I am thinking of serving coffee, donuts and bagels. All members are invited to attend our yearly visit with the President. As I get more details about the visit, I will let Randy Fortner know and it will be posted on our Community board in the lobby.
Poppy day is in May and we are hoping to have a table at both Publix stores and possibly at Fausto’s. More information will be forthcoming. Please think about spending some time meeting people and passing out Poppies and hopefully they will drop some money in our buckets.
We are in the process of ordering new Auxiliary shirts so hopefully soon we can start selling those again.
Hard to believe that our first round of Officer Nominations will start in March. Think about who you think would be a good representative for your Auxiliary.
All Auxiliary meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 7:00pm. If you need a reminder of when the meetings are being held, you can check out the monthly calendar in the lobby at the Post. Thank you to Randy Fortner for keeping us up to date.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 17th after the St. Patrick’s Day dinner so the meeting will start a little later than 6:00.
